Who we are

SCSW ("we", "us", "our") is a Swedish company developing tools for communications professionals. This policy explains how we handle your data when you visit scsw.ai and sign up for our waitlist.

What we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

• —Email address — provided by you in the signup form.
• —Browser language — detected automatically to understand our audience geography.
• —Referrer URL — the page that linked you to us, to understand how people find us.
• —Page URL and UTM parameters — to measure which campaigns are effective.
• —Timestamp — when you signed up.

We do not use cookies. We do not use analytics or tracking scripts. We do not collect your name, IP address, or device fingerprint.

Why we collect it

We use your email to notify you when SCSW launches and to send occasional updates about our progress. The metadata (referrer, language, UTM) helps us understand where our audience comes from so we can make better decisions about how to reach people like you.

Legal basis (GDPR)

We process your data based on your consent, given when you submit the waitlist form. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in Google Sheets (Google Workspace), hosted on Google's infrastructure. Google acts as a data processor under their standard data processing terms. Data may be stored in the EU or US under Google's infrastructure.

How long we keep it

We retain your data until you ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected (i.e., notifying you about our launch). We will not keep your data longer than 24 months without contacting you.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• —Withdraw consent at any time
• —Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Sweden: IMY, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten)

Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The only third party with access to your data is Google (as infrastructure provider for Google Sheets).
